{"id":63629,"date":"2026-02-17T16:20:30","date_gmt":"2026-02-17T15:20:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.primozroglic.com\/lectures-pr-fund\/"},"modified":"2026-02-18T11:57:42","modified_gmt":"2026-02-18T10:57:42","slug":"lectures-pr-fund","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.primozroglic.com\/en\/lectures-pr-fund\/","title":{"rendered":"In 2026 we continue with lectures for young athletes"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In February, the Primo\u017e Rogli\u010d Foundation, in cooperation with the \u010crnu\u010de Volleyball Club, organized two educational lectures as part of the series \u201cWinning Mindset: Everything a Young Athlete Needs to Know!\u201d, aimed at young athletes and their holistic development.&#13;\n&#13;\nThe central topic of the lectures was sports nutrition, which represents one of the key foundations for healthy development, high-quality training, and long-term athletic success. The lectures were led by Dr. Leon Bedra\u010d, an expert in sports nutrition, who presented to the young volleyball players\u2014in a clear and practical way\u2014the importance of proper eating habits, especially during adolescence and periods of intensive training.&#13;\n&#13;\nDuring the lecture, young athletes learned:&#13;\n&#13;\nhow to properly distribute meals throughout the day,&#13;\n&#13;\nwhat to eat before and after training,&#13;\n&#13;\nhow to recognize signs of insufficient energy intake,&#13;\n&#13;\nhow to responsibly approach the use of dietary supplements.&#13;\n&#13;\nSpecial emphasis was placed on understanding nutrition as an integral and equal part of training, as it significantly impacts not only athletic performance, but also recovery, health, and the overall well-being of young athletes.&#13;\n&#13;\n\u201cYoung athletes often think they can compensate for everything else through training. But without proper nutrition, the body will eventually say no. The right habits, however, can quickly lay the foundation for great success,\u201d emphasized the lecturer.&#13;\n&#13;\nThe topic strongly engaged the young athletes, as shown by the many questions and the active discussion following the lectures.&#13;\n&#13;\nWe will continue the \u201cWinning Mindset\u201d lecture series in the future, as the goal of the program is to provide young athletes with knowledge that helps them build a successful sporting path\u2014both on and off the court.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> <\/p>\n\n<ul
