After a long winter preparation period, Primo\u017e’s season began in Italy at the Tirreno-Adriatico, one of the most important stage races in the early part of the season. The race, which connects the Tyrrhenian and Adriatic Seas, has been the scene of his successes on several occasions. He won the Trident in 2019 and 2023. This year’s performance was also the first real indicator of form before the main part of the season. \n \nOpening time trial \nThe race began with an 11.5-kilometer time trial in Lido di Camaiore, where Filippo Ganna celebrated victory. Primo\u017e raced prudently throughout the week and above all with the idea of \u200b\u200bgradually building his form in mind. Tirreno-Adriatico often serves as the first serious test before spring goals and big stage races. \n \nA good start to a long season \nWith 5th place in the overall classification won, the week in Italy brought important kilometers, a feeling for racing and the first answers about his form.
