On Friday, October 17, 2025, the Primož Roglič Foundation, in cooperation with the Municipality of Hoče-Slivnica, organized the Children’s Cycling Gathering for the third consecutive year. The event, held in the Hoče Multipurpose Sports Hall, brought together joy, movement, and the laughter of children.
More than 130 children, aged 3 to 12, took part in the event, riding through a course illuminated with light sculptures and fun skill obstacles. Young cyclists set off on balance bikes, bikes with training wheels, and regular bicycles, showing their skill, courage, and enthusiasm for cycling.
The fastest and most skillful riders received special prizes, but every participant went home with a smile and a sense of pride. The event’s focus was on bonding, physical activity, and encouraging a love for cycling from an early age.
“With the Children’s Cycling Gathering, we want to inspire the youngest to discover the joy of sport through play and movement. This is where the first cycling dreams are born!”
The Primož Roglič Foundation extends its sincere thanks to the Municipality of Hoče–Slivnica, the volunteers, parents, and all participants for a wonderful day full of energy, smiles, and small victories.
As a gesture of appreciation, the Foundation has donated four bicycles to the municipal primary school for permanent use. The bicycles will support pupils in preparing for their cycling proficiency test.
