The “Golden Lap” with Primož Roglič
that will take place on Sunday, 12 October 2025, in Novo mesto.
Primož Roglič, together with his partners, is organizing a charity cycling ride Golden Lap with Primož Roglič, which will take place on October 12, 2025, in Novo mesto. The ride will start in front of the Olympic Center Novo mesto, and since cycling is a team sport, all proceeds from registration donations will go to charity – specifically, to the Primož Roglič Foundation. After the sporting part, there will be a social gathering for all participants, with food and drinks followed by a charity auction.
ROUTE
Together with the five-time Grand Tour winner and Olympic champion, you will have the opportunity to ride and share a few “cycling” words along a 62.5 km route starting in Novo mesto (Olympic center), continuing through Straža, the center of Novo mesto, Otočec, Drago, Gorenji Maharovec, Šentjernej, and then back via Otočec and Trška Gora to Novo mesto (Olympic center). Along the way, you will be able to refresh yourself at two stops, in Šentjernej and below Trška Gora.
Those who manage to keep up with Primož’s pace will face a unique and challenging test – a 1.7 km climb up Trška Gora together with Primož.
PROGRAM
The Golden Lap with Primož Roglič will begin in the morning with the distribution of start numbers in front of the Olympic center Novo cesto, followed by the start of the cycling ride at 11:00. After all riders arrive at the finish, expected around 14:00,
a pleasant gathering of all participants with music, food, and drinks will take place.
The day will conclude with a charity auction.
PROCEEDS FROM LAST YEAR’S GOLDEN LAP
With the proceeds from last year’s Golden Lap, we carried out several successful projects.
In the glow of neon sculptures, we organized the second Kids’s Cycling Gathering, where more than one hundred kids enjoyed themselves among unique animal figures made of colorful lights. For the third year in a row, we supported the multi-day race for children – the Kids Tour of Slovenia, the only event of its kind in Europe; and for the fourth time, we backed international BMX competitions in Maribor. We also launched lectures for young athletes, and we are very proud to have our first ambassador of the Primož Roglič Foundation, whom we helped to purchase a racing bike – with it, he has already climbed to the top step of the podium.
We look forward to new opportunities and challenges!

The event is charitable in nature, and all proceeds from registration donations and the auction will be donated to the Primož Roglič Foundation.
CYCLING JERSEY – GOLDEN LAP WITH PRIMOŽ ROGLIČ
As befits the name and purpose, it is only right to dress in gold for the event. A Slovenia-made cycling jersey in a blue and gold combination, which you will be able to wear long after the event thanks to its quality, design, and comfort. A special jersey, worn also by the golden Primož himself.
