Primož Roglič Foundation – We have started a series of lectures “Winning Mindset: Everything a Young Athlete Needs to Know!”

On Monday, April 14, we successfully opened a series of educational lectures by the Primož Roglič Foundation entitled “Winning Mindset: Everything a Young Athlete Needs to Know!” at the Crystal Palace in Ljubljana. The purpose of the lecture series is to offer young athletes support in various areas of their careers – also through knowledge that extends beyond sports.

The first lecture, titled “How to Build a Strong Public Image of an Athlete?”, was led by experienced communications expert Irena Pavčič, founder of the IPPR agency. Through practical examples and interactive exchange, she introduced young athletes to key skills of effective communication: from public speaking and professional communication via email and phone, to managing a social media presence and establishing good relationships with sponsors, media and event organizers.

Together with Irena, the participants explored how important it is for an athlete to stay true to themselves, be able to clearly present their story, and build a strong, authentic public image through responsible communication.

The event was marked by an exchange of opinions, numerous questions, and interesting insights, proving that young athletes already understand how important the development of communication skills is on their path to success.

We will continue with the lectures in the coming months. We have new topics and new steps ahead of us to support the development of young sports talents. Join us at the next lecture, which will be held in May!
