On the 3rd stage of the Race across Catalonia, Primož finished two seconds behind Remco Evenepoel, who attacked 4.5 km below the top of the climb to La Molina. The Belgian gained the advantage in the last 200 meters, but did not overtake Primož in the overall result. You can listen to more about impressions and what happened at the race in the contents below.
“High rhythm in the stage and were the attacks expected?”
“If yesterday the climb was a little too short at the end, today it was a little too long. Remco was really strong, I didn’t have good enough legs in the finish. If I could attack, of course I would. I’m waiting for good legs. That Evenepoel cleared six seconds , it doesn’t mean much. We’ve got another super tough stage on Friday. I can’t forget where I started this year. I’m definitely happy with where I’m at right now. I’ll do my best, we’ll see on Sunday where it takes me.”
“Expectation in tomorrow’s and Friday’s stage”
